On 12 September 2024, the ADI Design Museum in Milan hosted the presentation of Adolfo Guzzini. Ho visto la luce (“I saw the light”), a book devoted to the entrepreneur who carried the light of Recanati to the world.

The story begins in the Marche region, with the first objects made in horn and later in Plexiglas, and follows Adolfo Guzzini and his brothers as they transformed a craft business into one of the leading names in lighting. Guzzini was among the first to open his company to the great names of Italian design and to see light become design: from objects for the home to museums, from architecture to cities, and to places such as the Centre Pompidou and Leonardo’s Last Supper. Yet he never lost sight of his home region.

For us, it is a particularly meaningful book. It recalls the many moments, in design and in life, that we shared with Adolfo, and our presence in its pages affirms a long relationship founded on mutual trust and respect. Our story with iGuzzini is also told on this website.
