Oluce, 80 years of light in Milan
To mark Oluce’s eightieth anniversary, the ADI Design Museum presents five lamps by Bruno Gecchelin alongside the drawings that shaped them, from the first sketch to production.

To mark its eightieth anniversary, Oluce chose the week of the Salone del Mobile 2026 for an exhibition that retraces its history: the people who shaped it, the lamps it has produced and the distinctive way of working that has defined it.
Installed in the Sala delle Turbine at the ADI Design Museum, the exhibition pays tribute to the design masters who shaped Oluce’s identity. Among them is Bruno Gecchelin, who worked directly with the company’s founder, Giuseppe Ostuni.
The lamps of Bruno Gecchelin
Among the protagonists of the exhibition is Bruno Gecchelin, represented by five lamps designed for Oluce: Bahia, Otello, Dogale, Perla and Wing.
Alongside the objects, the exhibition presents the drawings through which each project took shape in dialogue with the company, from the first sketch to the technical drawings that guided engineering and production. It is the same path the studio follows today, from idea to finished product.
The photographs
Bruno Gecchelin has also contributed a number of photographs to the exhibition, among them a portrait of Giuseppe Ostuni.
The story of how Wing came about is told in the project stories.
