Poltrona Frau

The names come from music. Just as a note finds its meaning within a chord, the Nota chairs and Accordo table are designed to belong together: the dining table takes centre stage, with the chairs arranged around it.

For Poltrona Frau, renowned worldwide for its expertise in leather craftsmanship, Bruno Gecchelin chose to use leather as more than a covering. It became a decorative element in its own right, on equal terms with glass and metal.

In the Nota chair, leather enhances the black metal frame, which has a triangular cross-section. It is set into a recessed channel along one of the three exposed faces.

The Accordo table, available in rectangular and round versions, has a clear or smoked-glass top and a black metal frame. Leather in a choice of colours runs around the full perimeter of the top, highlighting the frame’s profile and bringing warmth to the design.
